The fifth Study Club meeting was held on Monday night, April 14, at the home of Anthony Fin- nan. Eleven answered roll call in spite of very bad roads. The usual routine was carried out. Mrs. Henry Gallant invited all to her home for next meeting on Friday night, April 18. Mrs. Joe Gallant, who just recently arrived from St. John, N.B., is visiting at'the home of her son Wiliam Gallant of How- Ian, has not ben very well since arriving. She had the doctor 2 or 3 times. Mrs. Gallant suffered a slight stroke during the win- ter from which she hasn’t fully recovered.
