Warned of the fast approach- ing danger by one oi the cal-pen- ters, Mr. Irving moved quickly enough to avoid a much more ser- luus inlury, but sustained a fract- ured shoulder. An unusually large number of young people enjoyed the informal dance held in the Institute Hall on Thursday evening, June 30th. Ex- cellent music was furnished by the Western Five Orchestra under the capable direction of Mr. J. F. White. The auditorium was decorated with native ferns and cut flowers.
