fore His Honor Judge Duffy in the
County Court the cases of George
and wilbert Stetson vs. George Kit-
son and Samuel Silliphant were
heal-il and disposed of. The cases
arose over a potato transaction
which occurred in the Spring of
1931, and followed the case of
Archibald Johnson vs. Geo. Kitson
in which judgment was given for
the defendant a few days ago. A
number of wltncsses were called on
each side, and on the conclusion of
the Stetson case judgment was giv-
en for the defendant Kitson with
costs. On the conclusionof the evi-
dence for the plaintiff in the siiii-l
phant case, Counsel moved for a'
non-suit, Counsel for the plaintiff
consented to the same and judg-
ment was given non-suiting the
plaintiff with costs. Mr. M. A.
Farmer for plaintiffs and Mr, R.
R. Bell for the defendant.

FAMILY REUNION-The Dewar
family nt New Perth with their
several members to the number of
thirty hold a family reunion on
the old homestead farm at New
Perth on the aftemoon of June
21st and while their ages range
from seventy years downward it is
a family circle that has never been
severed by the hand of death. They
are Dr. G. F. Dewar, Charlotte-
town; Mrs. Shirley Snow of Broc-
ton, Mass.; Mrs. E. S. Norton and
Mrs. G. H. Parker of Georgetown
Royalty, and J. A. Dewar and Mrs.
Isabella MacLaren of New Perth.
They are a family that have act-
ed '.vell their part in supplying the

The sisters were all trained nurses.
After the party had partaken of
its good things under which the
tables groaned, a. programme of
music and addresses was carried
out. The ideal weather and the
beauty of the surroundings added
an inspiration and charm that will
be long remembered.
NICHOLSON - BAMPTON.-The
marriage of Irene Margaret, daugh-
ter of the late Alexander and Emma
Nlcliolson of Cambridge, Mass., for-
merly of Cardigan, Prince Edward
Island, to Lawrence Clinton Bamp-
ton, son of Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Bampton, Roxbury, Mass., took
place at the home of the bride's
mother on June 21, 1933. The
ceremony was performed by the Rev.
Frederick Fitts of St. John's Episco-
pal Church. The bride, who was
given in marriage by her brother,
Caleb was charmingly govmed in a
long, sweeping model of white or-
gandie with white picture hat and
carried an arm bouquet of white
roses and lilies of the valley. Her
bridesmaid, Miss Beth Douglas,
formerly of Georgetown, Prince Ed-
gown, cut on the same lines as that
of the brlde's, with yellow picture
hat and carried tea. roses. Mr. John
R. Bampton, Jr., brother of the
groom was best man. A reception
followed the ceremony at which
sixty gucsts, many of whom were
former Prince Edward Island friends
of the bride extended their best
wishes and congratulations to the
bride and groom. The bride's mother
wore blue lace with corsage of orch-
ids and the mother of the groom
wore blue chiffon with corsnge of
tea roses. The bride and Broom left
immediately after the reception by
motor on a honeymoon trip ‘to
Prince Edward Island. The bride
travelled in a grey ensemble. Mr.
and Mrs. Bampton, are now the
guests of Hon. J. A. and Mrs. Mac-
Donald at Cardigan. They will re-

morning for Boston to attend the
International Rotary Convention.
He was joined at St. John by his
brother Dr. J. S. Clark, who has
been attending the Canadian Medi-
cal Association. Dr. Clark, who is
president of the Brandon, Mon.
Rotary Convention is also going to
the Boston Convention. Mr. W. M.
Rowe, of Charlottetown, also left
Sa.tu.i-day for the Rotary Convention
