The contract will be in excess of 1 million dollars. and when com- pleted there will be only two run- ways of greater length anywhere in Canada. These are at airports near Ottawa and Vancouver. The tension at Summerside will allow sufficient room for the world's largest aircraft to land and takeoff on its paved surface which will extend in a straight line formorethanllsmilesinadin action from north east to south e t. wtlsbe runway extension will cut across the present North St. Eleanor's highway lust west of the North St. Elennor's school, and this will necessitate the closing of this part of the road and the con- struction of a new road which will permit highway traffic around the end of the runway extension. Missing Boy, Found Before Severe Storm A five-year-old boy. missing for several hours in the Sea Cow Pond area near Tignlsh yesterday. was located last evening about 6.15 just before a severe electrical storm. He was found after an extensive search by upwards of a hund- red persons from the district and membe 3 of the Alberton R. C. M. Police detachment. James Harper. son of Mrs. Daniel Harper, Tignlsh. stay- ed away while accompanying his mother on a berry picking trip and was not missed for some time. Unable to locate him following a search of the immediate area. Mrs. Harper spread the alarm and by the time the little boy was located. none the worse for his ordeal, a large crowd was searching the wooded area. Fortunately for the child and the searchers, he was found just before a severe electrical storm accompanied by gusts of wind and heavy rains hit the district. Prince Co.
