McKinnon which was also adopted. The report of Miss Mona Wilson Chief Red Cross Nurse (which is given below) was next submitted. Mr. Percy Pope! in moving its adoption spoke of the importance of the work whichis being done by the Rod Cross Society and congru- tulsted Miss Wilson on the very valuable service she is rendering to the Province. Rev. Mr. Ray- mond in seconding the motion said he wished to add his very hearty congratulations of the splendid report submitted by Miss Wilson. He said the high per- centage of tuberculosis on the ls- land should not fail to impress and pressure should be brought to bear to remedy this. Mr. W. F Tid- marsh in supporting the motion said the report was most full and comprehensive, the best report yet given to the public. in speaking of vaccination Mr. Tidmursh said that the fsct of 80.6% of children ‘attending rural schools was s. men- ace and some action should be tak- en to make delinquent mothers feel their responsibility. in this re- gard. Miss McCollum of the Y. W. C. A. also supported Mr. Tid- marsh in this particular. Mr.- Percy Pope expressed his re- grets of the absence st tho meeting of Dr. Harry Johnston who through illness was unable to attend. Mr. Pope moved a resolution, which was passed, that a record of re- gret be entered into the minutes expressing regret oi the absence from illness of Dr. Johnston. Mr. Justice Haszard, the Presi- dent, then briefly addressed the meeting. Wilson on her excellent report- the best he had heard since he be- came associated with the society.
