The Island has a Government Stock Farm, the total cost of which, we are informed, was the small sum of about $1,500 last year. They raise a number of Shorthorn cattle, and send them to the different counties to sell for what they will bring, Thus they are doing good service. The farm is well cultivated, and is a great credit to the Island, to the directors, and tothe manager.
