Such was the case in the death of -Mr. Wm. H. Fer- guson oi Hampton, which took place on Thursday, May 1st 1913, in his 50th year. Hc was in his usual health and attending to his farm duties, up to lessthan two, weeks before his death ‘when he was stricken -with pneumonig and all that lovin-gmhands and tender care could do' was done, but to no avail. His death came as a shock to the whole community, as he was well known and beloved by all. He was al- ways williug and ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. He gwill he greatly missed in the commun- _lty as well as in the Church and Sun- _day School where his place was rare- fly vacant. His funeral on. Saturday, May 3rd, to Crapaud Cemetery was very largely attended, There being over one hundred carriages present. The service's at the house and grave were conducted by Rev. G. M. Young- |’l'he pall bearers were cousins of the deceased-Messrs. Hammond, Walter iand Frederick Ince, Joseph and Char- les Ince, and 'Allah -Ferguson. There are left to mourn n sorrowing widow and tour small children:-Victor, Ev- elyn, Russell and Harold, s. babe o' ,nine months; also four brothers and one sister. The sympathy of the com- munity goes out to the bereaved one's.
