Euston street Tigers and the Silver Foxes in the Bantam Midget, series will be played at the " librum this m0rning.»Both teams are at full strength. ‘All injuries have been repaired and neither ' Captain can offer a word of excuse if the dice of fate goes against him. The Silver Foxes have their old goalie, J. Davis, back again and are banking much on that. Their con- fldence in him is the result of stiff , battles won when he was guardian of the nets. Their scoring line of "Cyclone" Moreside, “Rusty" Pep- _ pin and "Puddy" Beer is in the pink < having utilized several afternoons practicing banging the puck against a barn door to increase their ac- ouracv of aim. "Flash" Paquev-he with the slick halr—wlll be in fine form this mi-ning, and they have theold reliables Albert Douglas, Edwin and Richie Bagnall and Jack Burgess, not to mention their Captain "Volcano" Macheod. Other doughty warriors are R. MacKin- non, B. Cudmorc and B. Thompson. New let us glance at the Tigers lineup. With J. Carr in goal that ~ ce is well filled. The defence "will be their Carfain, Don Seaman. , whose pet name is "Wailie". Don < has been eating plenty of roast beef _ and will play a mighty game today. Crockett and Down his teammates. , in front of goalie Carr. are both g men. For right wings there will be the. redoubta-ble Tom Rogers. who scor- ed n, goal in last Saturday's fray. and Don “Polly" MacLeod, two smart skaters who pack a wicked wallop. Left wings, R. McKay and B. McKinncn are about as good as you can find for their ages. For centres there is the iilusive G. Bears, who can squirm around the best of them, and A. McEachern, who sent a sizzier in to win the game at the last meeting of the , teams. Balbo was drawn, this left the three old warriors to battle it out. Class B had the racing fans in the air, Cass Clay's, Peter Verd with Lowery up, and that good little pacing mare Tote with her owner Hurd Killarn driving. made the rac- ing of the day. Peter trotting all the way and Tote pacing fast, made a great race with the mare right on the neck of Peter at the finish of the three straight heats. Ed R. was out in the first heat and then drawn. Mr. Bennett came all the way up from Murray River with his good mare Jollyset, which shows he has the right sporting spirit. Jollyset was right up in the fast company in the first heat, but lost a shoe and had to be drawn and left the fight to Peter Verd and Tote.
