Aubin Gallant and Terrence Gallant. and Reginald Pineau and Felix Arsenault. Sister St. Rene Jesus of Marion Academy. Mis- couche. was organist. and dur- ing the Mass played several ap- propriate hymns. The altar and sanctuary were decorated with a profusion of chrysanthemum and snapdragon. After parish hall which was decked with baskets of gladioli while the guest tables were garland- od with vases of mixed garden floral arrangements. A three- tier anniversary cake occupied the centre of the head table at which were seated the cele- brants, their sons. daughters. eons-in-law and daughters-in- law. and Father Piire. He recalled personalities of yesteryear. in- cluding relatives. clergy, teach- ers, associates and friends who had such a profound impact and influence on their lives. He re- counted also many of the events which they had experienced. and the many blessings which were bestowed upon them, dur- ing their married life. The remainder of the day and evening was passed in exchang- ing greetings and reminiscing and in the enjoyment of music and dancing. The morning will be devot- ed to a sightseeing bus trip with a lecturer aboard pointing out places of interest. The route in- York. at 25 ' p.m. New York. with stopovers in Chinatown for a visit to a Chin- ese temple. in the Bowery and Park Avenue. A conducted tour of the world famous St. John the Divine Church is also in- cluded in the morning's agenda. After lunch, the ladies will be free to do some shopping and then back to the hotel to pre- pare for the evening's entertain- m nt. Dinner this evening will be at the Hotel Piccadilly, with com- plete “Smorgasbord" service and a fantastic array of food to tempt even the most discrimin- aiing tastes.
