park illegally. Ifthe Security Department can provide assistance, feel free to call 566-0373 or 566-0600 and we will do our best to serve you. Respectfully Yours, A.J. MacLeod Director of Security. tig ie Parkings... Students, Faculty and Staff, We have now started another year of academic studies, and with this comes the problem of finding some place to park. Already, we, the security department, are having to warn, ticket and tow vechiles for parking violations. Although parking and no parking areas are well marked, the problem of illegally parked cars still exists. A number of reasons for this problem have been given. These include late for class, did not see the sign, too far to walk, and it’s worth the risk of getting caught. The universities policy on parking has not changed, parking is operated on a first come first serve basis. The security department and the university realize that the existing parking lot not always accomodate the total number of vichiles on the campus at one time but this is not sufficient reason to double park, park on grass, or block roadways. We feel that much of this problem can be avoided if drivers look the situation over carefully, plan ahead, and have patients when varking on campus. Please try to help us in helping you. W ith your security in mind, good motoring. A.J.
