VETERINARY REPORT.-The re-
port of the veterinary director gen-
geral for the year 1918 h-as been re-
ceived. By it is shown that P. E.Is-
land has been wonderfully free of
disease as far as cattle, hogs, sheep,
pigs and all farm animals are con-
cerned. One horse was examined in
the Island and found healthy.
There was no report of diseased cat-
tle or other animals. 12,159 horses
were examined, one of which was for
