The sing- ing of "Auld Lang Syne" brought the evening to a close. llany Inquiries Received By Bureau A total of 1.399 enquiries from prospective visitors to Prince Ed- ward Island were received and dealt with by the staff of the Provincial Travel Bureau during the month of June. it was dis- closed yestcrday by George V Fraser, director of the Tourist and Information Branch of the Prov- incial Government. This was 1 drop of 3'15 over the month of May. The drop is due to the fact, that most people make their hol- iday plans before June, Mr. Fraser said. Of the total enquiries received. 844 came from residents of the United states and 418 were from the other Canadian provinces. A total of 42 enquiries came trom other countries.
