The latter, it is understood, has declined to run in York, where four candidates wili run. The Orange Convention, following the tem perance people, has nominated H. H. Pitts, who will run as an equal righter, prehilitionist and opposition candidate. The rm gular opposition has nominated only three candidates, so that the odd vote may be thrown to Pitts, if voters so desire. The onpositicn candidates are W.
