In case you haven't heard yet, we have already set a society fishing record. On Sept. 12, 1987 the Society fishing trip recorded an amazing catch of 42 fish, the reigning champ (Ab_ Ferris) with 8 catches. Steven Birt won our loaded to the “gills” award. As well, Paul Coles caught the ugliest fish. Through the year, we will have various other events which will include: Golf Tournament Sept. 18 Stanhope Bowling Tournament (T.B.A.) Hockey Tournament (T.B.A.) Broomball Tournament (T.B.A.) Curling Tournament (T.B.A.) Business Pubs (T.B.A) Brewery Pub (T.B.A.) In addition to the above, we will be holding our annual Businessman’s Dinner, second semester, plans for which have already begun. We would like to stress the impor- tance of this main event as we feel it is very beneficial to all who attend. Not to be forgotten, in the Election for the Freshman Rep., it will be held Monday, Sept.21. Ballots will be passed out during classes to make it easier for the fresh- men.
