Mrs- Agnew had been confined t0 he!‘ bed for some months but 01 l8" had been improving to such an ex- tent that. complete recovery seemed assured. However, she contracted the flu and in her weakened condition was unable to respond to the treat- ment given her and on the above mentioned date, her gentle spirit took its flight. She was tenderly cared for during her illness by her daughter-ln-liiwi, also her datlEhV-‘P who was able to be with her for a‘ few weeks. .. Mrs. Agnew was a home-loving woman, B good wife, loving mother and kind neighbor, one whose prac- tice of the Gooen Rule made her well liked and respected by all. Mrs Agnew formerly Miss Zlllilhl Green, was the daughter of the late Joseph O. Green and Mrs. (Gay) Green, and was born near Summer- side. After her marriage to Mr. Agnew she wme to live in Wllmot Valley where she had many friends. Besides her sorrowing husband, she leaves three children: sumac Lake. New York; Ethel. Mrs. Leonard Bowman, North Wltshlre, and Hubert. on the homestead to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother.
