factors during the surveys. More work is required to identify the 
     
     problems and potential solutions for creating a useful data set to 
     
     analyze the influence of such factors on the call abundance codes. 
     
    

    
     The potential to establish a long term amphibian monitoring 
     
     network was established as a number of individuals wish to record 
     
     their observations on an annual basis. Future efforts will be 
     
     focused on establishing call frequency recording routes in those 
     
     areas where sampling intensity was low, especially western P.E.I. 
     
    

    
     The records for the mink frog were based on calls. The 
     
     volunteers used an audio comparison of dubbed recordings of the 
     
     different species and the call could have been mistaken for that of 
     
     another species. The relatively extensive surveys by Bleakney 
     
     (1958) and Cook (1967) did not record this species, hence specimens 
     
     or recorded calls are required for confirmation. An effort will be 
     
     made to collect audio recordings of calls in these areas in 1995 to 
     
     ascertain for certain whether the mink frog is present. 
     
    

    
     The computerized system proved to be quite useful in 
     
     summarizing the data into maps and facilitates the collection of 
     
     this data by volunteers. Now we need your help. Please review 
     
     each of the species maps and advise us of any locations where you 
     
     know each of these species to exist. Simply' drop me a note 
     
     providing the details and this data can be added to provide a more
