ATLANTA. Ga.. June 21.-The np-
preheneion° a short, whip, ag., of n
number of traffickers in habit-forming
drugs. who had been operating among
the soldiers stationed at Camp Gord-
on. Gs., and who, it was felt sure by
federal authorities, formed a link ln
a system extending not only from
Atlanta to Nashville and Memphis,
Tenn.. but even to cities in the north
and' oast. has since led to the arrest of
a number of their employers.
lt had been known for many- months
that the wholesale traffic of many
narcotic drugs had been going on
among the men of his camp. and was
.particularly prevalent in the base
hospital. Medical officials ordered
men who were known to be addicted
to the drugs at the hospital to be iso~:
lated, and every precaution was taken
to keep them without the stimulants.
Until the closing of the military ln-
vestigation, the authorities were
baffled, however. Then oiiicials at
the camp obtained certain clues that
Toy felt sure would lead' to the iden-
t ficstion of all concerned in the sys-
