S. -DEATH BY NATURAL CAUS- ES-The adjourned inquest to en- qutre into the death of Ernest Clow (J12) of Summerside who passed sway on Sunday night on board the ‘ A. B. Moulton, when she was 85 miles from lend, was resumed at Compton's undertaking parlours on Tuesday faternoon be- fore Dr. E. T. Tsnton, coroner. Dr. J. A. McPhee, who had made an autopsy of the body the night be- fore, gave evidence that he had gone out to the vessel, which was seven miles of! the shore at Sea- vlew, in company with Mr. Thane A. Campbell, K. 0., of Summerslde, and that they had found every- thing in order. The captain told him how the deceased lied been taken suddenly ill on Sunday morn-l i118 and had passed away shortly‘ before 10 o'clock Sunday night. They were then 85 miles from shore. They came within the three mile limit and flew their flag b8 hlif inlet. Dr. McPhee took the body ashore to the Dnmley side of Melpeque Bay, where an inquest was held. Dr. McPhee stand that upon examination he found that the deceased had evidently suffer- ed from severe gastritis followed by peritonitis. He also stated that he had attended the deceased in Mei-ch for the same trouble. Mr. Clovis Perry gave evidence that he had been hailed by the Captain of the schooner and asked to notify the authorities that Ernest Clow had died aboard their vessel. The Jury returned e verdict of death from natural causes in accordance with the doctor's evidence. S.
