HEREAS I have received information that on the night of \ SATURDAY, the 27th MAY last, a Barn and Stable, of JOHN Aacnmann MCDONALD, Esoumn, situate at GLENALADALE, on Township Number 36, were cossmmn DY FIRE, and that there is strong reason to believe that the said buildings were wilfully and felonioust set on fire by some person, or persons, at present un- discovered. N ow, therefore, in order to the discovery and punishment of the party, or parties, guilty of the aforesaid felonious offence, I have thought fit, by and with the advice and consent of Her Majesty’s Council, to proclaim, and I do hereby proclaim and odor a reward of FIVE IIUNDRED POUNDS, to any person, or persons, not the actual party- to the act, who will give such information and evidence as Will lead to the discovery, apprehension and conviction of the offender, or ofi‘enders.
