This game Vas supposed to be a continuation of the one held earlier in the season between these Same two teams. That one was halted by, Hurricane Freddy ‘after'only two innings. Hurricane Freddywas not at‘fault this time, hOWeVer, as Blanchard showed up for the game along with only one Day Student._ I happened to be that DayStudent - and let.me tell you - they levelled quite a verbal blast at is representative — one I might add— which .\1- INTRAMURAL I SCHEDULE ‘ Broonball Oct. 18 Mon. To paraphrase a’ ,couple Of "apartment dwellers" they said, "The Day Students have no spirit." And-who am I to argue?’ When only one person shows up to play a game,.something is definately not right somewhere. ' ‘ / On to a,much lighter topic, the play~offs have begun in all three intramural sports — softball, soccer, and flag football. Judging from the results~during the regular season, the favorites seem to be Blanchard in sOftball; " Bernadine 2 in soccer; and the Bernadine Roughriders in flag football.’ See ya all next week........ PREDICTIONS OF THE WEEK: Bittsburg to take Baltimore in five, possibly‘six; ‘V, The Day Students to show Blanchard Hall what "spirit" is all about (someday). .4,
