     NCF. a year we see a strange phenomenon. The Star of Faith . . . . always visible to those who look . . . 
     
     suddenly becomes apparent to everyone. Once a year....for the span of days known as Yuletide, 
     
     the spirit of goodwill and generosity becomes a vital. dominant way of being. Everyone of every age is 
     
     warmed and gladdened by the goodness of Christm as. Scrooges dip into their money bags .  the 
     
     Colonel's lady and Judy O'Grady rub elbows and smile at each other... . The lion purrs softly It the 
     
     d lamh . . . . The world is a wonderful place in which to live. 
     
    

    
     We are all familiar with this annual miracle. But how many of us can conceive of a world when 
     
     Christmas is a perpetual state of, heart? Can you imagine such a world of peace. and plenty? A world 
     
     devoid of war and want? Of course you can. We all do. And then we sigh with anticipated defeat and 
     
     go back to the old way of being. 
     
    

    
     But we need not go back. We can begin now, this very day, to hold on to the spirit of Christmas. Let's 
     
     look up. . . . today and every day. The guiding star is there, shining steadfastly for all 1.0 sec . . . for
