Henry C. Lowe and Co., of this City had the general contract for its constructlom Mr. Lowe is the oldest active contractor in Canada. He has been in business since he reached manhood over sixty years ago. Besides the new Sanatorium there are many other ‘fine buildings all over the Province, but principally in Charlottetown, which he has built. Among them may be mentioned St. Paul's Church, School and Rectory, St. James Church, Central Christian Church, Cameron Block, DesBrisay Block, north half oi’ Prince of Wales College, Davis .5: Fraser, which con- tains more than 1.300.000 brick.
