Although the roads: were blucked and travelling inconvenient a large aud respectable gathering assembled in the Scheolroom, and quite a large num- ber of the fair sex graced the occasion with their presence. Mr. Joseph Smith, in opening, said he regretted that the dis- agreeable state of the roads prevented a great many members of the suciety from attending.
