Any twenty-five members of the Society shall have power to call a special general meeting of the Society, at any time, on giving twenty days’. notice of the time and place of such special general meeting, in any two newspapers publish- ed in Charlottetown. VIII. Any person paying the sum of six shillings into the funds of the Society, shall have a right to vote at the first general meeting thereof, but the amount required to be paid in, in order to constitute membership and a right to vote, at any subsequent meetings of the So- ciety, shall be defined by the bye-laws of the Society. An Act to authorize the establishment of addi- tional Small Debt Courts in Prince and King’s Counties. [Passed April 19, 1860.] E it enacted by the Administrator of the Government, Council and Assembly, as follows :— 1. After the passing of this Act, it shall be lawful for the present, or any other, Adminis- trator of the Government of this Island, in Council, to constitute and appoint an additional Small Debt Court in Township Number Eleven, in Prince County, and an additional Small Debt Court in Township humber Fifteen, in said County, and also an additional Small Debt Court at Dundas, in Township Number Fifty-five, in King’s County—and to declare the precise localities in each Township, respectively, in which said Courts shall be holden, and the day of each month on which said Courts shall hold their respective sittings, and to appoint to each of such Courts three Judges or Commissioners to adjudicate in such Court, which said Courts shall have jurisdiction only within the Counties in which they shall be severally held, except as in the cases mentioned in the first hereinafter recited Act. II. The Courts to be appointed or constituted, by virtue of this Act, shall exercise and have the same jurisdiction and powers, in all respects, as the Courts already established and having jurisdiction under and by virtue of the Act of the twenty-third year of the reign of Her pre- sent Majesty, chapter sixteen, intituled “ An Act relating to the Recovery of Small Debts, and to repeal certain Acts therein mentioned, . and of all Acts in amendment thereof,” as fully and effectually, to all intents and purposes, as if the same had been established under the said recited Act, or any Act in amendment thereof. An Act to authorise the Government to raise the sum of Ten thousand Pounds, for the erection of additional Public Buildings in Charlottetown, and for permanent improve- ments in Roads, Bridges and public works, under superintendence of the Board of \Vorks. [Passed April 19, 18179. E it enacted by the Administrator of the Government, Council and Assembly, as follows :— I. It shall be lawful for the Lieutenant Go- vernor, by and with the advice of Her Majesty’s Executive Council, after the passing of this Act, to order a Loan account to be opened in the Treasury of this Island, and to borrow and receive from any person or persons, at such times and in such sums and amounts as may be practicable and convenient, a loan of Money, not exceeding in the aggregate the sum of Ten thousand Pounds, of lawful current money of this lsland, and to issue debentures for the payment thereof 'at the expiration of ten years from the date of each debenture, with interest at the rate of six per centum per annum, in the mean time, payable annually, in such form, and containing such provisions as the Lieutenant Governor, in Coun- cil, shall direct. II. The moneys to be raised under the pro- visions of this Act shall be paid into the Trea- sury of this Island, and it shall be lawful for the Lieutenant Governor, in Council, to expend, out of the same, a sum not exceeding five thousand pounds, in the erection of additional Public Buildings in Charlottetown, in connection with the present Public Building, or detached there- from, . if deemed prepcr, and the residue, if required, may be applied, if ordered by the Lieutenant Governor, in Council, to permanent improvements in Roads, Bridges and other pub- lic works, under the superintendence of the Board of Works. III. The sums to be paid out of the Treasury, from time to time, of the moneys so to be raised hereunder, for the purposes in the last preceding section mentioned, shall be paid by warrant on the 'l‘reasurer, drawn by the Lieutenant Gover-
