     Ambulance Brigade has undertaken to blood group, free of charge, as a First Aid 
     
     measure, all those employed in industry or other fields where such action is helpful. 
     
     Each person typed is given a card showing his or her blood group. A duplicate 
     
     card is given to the authorities so that when an accident occurs requiring a transe 
     
     fusion, a suitable blood type can be selected immediately; 
     
    

    
     Members of the St. john Ambulance Brigade also assist the Canadian Red 
     
     Cross Society in collecting blood from volunteer donors. The dried serum has been
