Rollo Bay, when a statue of Our Lady of Grace was blessed by Bishop Malcolm Mac- Eachern. The statue is the gift of Mr. John N. Chalsson. a former parishioner, now residing in Bos- ton. It is of Italian marble and was carved in that country. The Bishop was welcomed by the pastor, Rev. W. A. Keefe. who also preached the aerrnon. His Excellency made a gracious reply. Solemn Pontifical Benediction was pronounced by the Bishop, as- sisted by the Rev. B. J. Macdon- aid as deacon and the Rev. George Macdonald as sub-deacon. Rev. P. F. Appropriate hymns were sung by St. Alexis Choir. the ttendancc in the two higher rooms had decreased greatly in the month of April. In the lower rooms the attendanc was excel- lent. in her report she suggested that 85 be given to the pupil making the highest mark in the matriculation exams.
