from F. W. Porter, of Fredericton, for
the New Brunswick Western Associa-
tion, and Rev. Mr. Quick,of Yarmouth.
for the Nova Scctia Western Associa-
tion.
It was agreed that the educational
work conducted in the Christian culture
courses be pursued with greater zeal
during the year.
The following resolution was adopted:
Resolved, that our unions be urgent-
ly advised and requested to find the
proportionate amount their respective
churches should contribute to our de-
nominational benevolence. and that
they make every eiloit that this amount
be raised and forwarded through the
treasurers of the churches to the treas-
urers of our funds at least quarterly.
The executive committee was autho-
rized to co-operate with the representa-
tives of the different parts of Canada
in the arrangement of a programme for
Young People’s day ar the first nation-
al Baptiet Convention to be held at
Winnipeg in July, 1900.
The report of the B. Y. P. U. editor,
Rev. J. B. Morgan, whose duty it is to
edit a union column in the Messenger
and Visitor, was received and adopted.

cellent music was rendered during the
evening by the choir of the church,
under the leadership of J. W. Spnrden.
