Johnson, of the firm of Johnson & Jobnsoo, and Mise Daisy C. Lewis, daugh- ter of John Lewis, Eseq., was solemnized. Rev. J.J. Teasdale, pastor of the church, was the officiating clergyman. The bride was attended by Miss May Daweon, daughter of ex~Mayor Dawson, and Miss Annie Jobneon, sister of the groom. Mr. Jobn Lewis, brother of the bride, was groomsman. The bride looked charming in atailor- made suit of prune cloth with white silk trimming, and carried a bouget of white roses. Miss Baweon, the first brides» maid, wore s tailor-made suit of blue with white trimming, and Miss Johnson wore biue trocade. Professor Watts presided at the organ, playing throughout the ceremony and rendering Mendelsrohn’s Wedding March at the close with fine effect. Both bride and groom were members of the cboir, and their associates turned outin force. The selections “Tbe Voice that Breatbedo’er Eden”, and “ How Welcome was the Cal].” The large measure of popularity which the young couple enjoy was spparent by the great many wedding offerings re- ceived bythe bride. The choir of the church sent a valuable bat rack, the mem- bers of the bride’s Sunday Schoo! class contributed a beautiful jardiniere and the Sunday School teachers added an elegant silver salver.
