Hope River was the scene of a pretty August wedding when Helen Theresa youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leander Reid. Hope River became the bride of F-0 Sin- clair Ash of Victoria. B.C. The pastor, Rev. Earl Dalton performed the double ring cere- mony and celebrated the Niiptiai Mass. Mrs. J. E. Pletninsz was or-l ganist for the occasion and ac-. companied Miss Sharon Mullinl who beautifully rendered appro- priate hymns during the Nuptial Mass. Given in mnrriiigc by her law tier. the bride was lowly in a; Reid. and embroidered lace over sn- tin Wtfh a Sabrina neckline and long sleeves that tapered to points over her fingertips. Her shoulder length veil was held in place by a Coronet of seeded pearls and sequins. She carried a corsage of red roses. The bridal attendants Miss Frances Reid and Miss Aline Reid were similarly gowncd in blue nylon dresses accented with deeper shaded cummerbunds. They wore matching picture hats and carried nosegays of yellow mums. Following the reception. the bride and groom left on a short honeymoon trip. For her going away outiflt, the bride chose a candy striped sheath styled dress of brown and tan with matching duster.
