'Sri Chinmoy Sri Chmroy was born in Bengal, India in 1931. .At the age of twelve he entered an ashram, Or spiritual com- nunity, and spent the next twenty years in prayer and neditation. During this period he had a nurber of deep mystical experiences, which he has sought to ex- press/through art,,1iter- ature and music. Since coming to the west in 1964, Sri Chinnoy has written more than 300 books of spiritual poetry, plays, stories, aphorism, es— says and questions and answers.
