THE GUARDIAN has made enquiries concerning Mr. Edmund ,Taylor and gleaned the following par- ticulars:-Mr. Edmund Taylor was a son of the late Mr. William Taylor of Hamilton,Lot 18. March 7.-Edmund Lower Falls, was thrown from his Wagon on Tremont s‘r=' et this evening by a collision with a Boston elevated elec.ric car and almost instantly killed. Several stories aretold by the Wit- nesses ol the accident. It was shortly before 7 when the Commonwealth A v. car, which left Newton for Boston at 6.42 snuck the heavily loaded express ii agoii- driven by Taylor. on Tremont st, near the corner of Pembroke. ton, and the car struck the wheels on the right side, throwing the vehicle to- ward the Southerly curbstone. The in- jury, which resulted fatally, was a frac- ture of the skull. In addition to this, the marks of several less serious injur ies were found on the body. ._ The electric' car was in charge of C. i S. Brown, conductor, and John F. An derson, motorman. Anderson states that the wagon when struck was direct- ly in the middle of the tracks. In this statement he is contradicted by several passengers, who state that the Wagon was on the right hand track coming out. Taylor’s body was taken to station 1, where it was viewed by medical exami- uerUtley. Itwas later turned over to 'aLower Falls undertaker. Taylor was 40 years of age and was born in Prince Edward Island. He was Iormerly employed by Richard Denni- son ot Weston and had been in the em- ploy of the Warren company at Lower Falls for about 10 years. He was well liked in Lower Falls and was held in high esteem by his employers. He was unmarried and boarded on Washington street. opposite Grove.
