     After a lot of discussion and input from NHS mem- 
     
     bers we decided a while back that the Island 
     
     Naturalist had too many pages of bird sightings. 
     
     The solution was not to print those birds listed 
     
     in the field checklist bf birds as common, fairly 
     
     common, or very common during whatever season we 
     
     were in. But this has caused some faithful re- 
     
     corders not to send in any sightings at all. 
     
     Please send in any and all sightings to the news- 
     
     letter, common or uncommon - all reports are saved f’""

     the future. Without your help, the check list will ,;-.- s
