The sale was well patronized and the lovely articles on display soon found ready purchasers. --'I'he Canadian Girls In Train- ing of the O'Leary United Church held their Christmas party at the Sunday School room of the church on Friday evening. Dec. 15. The worship service was conducted by Mrs. W. G. Dickson. The room was nicely decorated with bougihs and Christmas ornaments and there was a gaily decorated Christ- mas trce. Games were enjoyed and gifts were exchanged between the members. A treat of candy. fruit and nuts were passed around to the girls and all had a wonder- ful time. 'lihe rest of the evening was spent in practicing for their Christmas Vesper Service which will be held after the regular church service on Sunday. Dec. 24. There was a very large attendance as the whole con- gregation was invited including all the boys and girls. However a tube burned out in the projector so the assembly all went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A.
