THE Trustees of the Lunatic Asylum are desirous of con- tracting for the supply of the Institution for six months, from the let of August, 1867, with the following articles, viz : Fresh BEEF, per lb. FLOUR, Island, per lb. do American, per barrel, OATMEAL, per lb. 6 TONS Sydney Round COAL. 15 TONS Pictou Round, and 30 TONS Pictou Slack COAL. The BEEF to consist of fore and bind quarters, which, with the other articles, are to be delivered at the Asylum, to order, when required. HIS Excellency the Lieutenant Governor in Council was this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which the amount of the Invoice of Dutiable Goods, imported into this Island from the United States of America, shall, in estimating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of the Island, as follows:— In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Dollars and Cents ot’the paper currency of the United States, the amount 0t such Invoice shall be reduced into current money of this Island, by allowing for each Dollar the sum of FOUR SHILLINGS AND SIX~PENCE, and in the like proportion for any fraction of a D01- lar: of which all Collectors of lmpost are to take notice and govern themselves accordingly.
