Our object in going into the Carpet business was to give people FAIR, SQUARE TREATMENT, and goods at the right prices. Now we claim, as our right, your patronage. You may ask WHY, While our competitors fur years were asking and getting $1.55 and $1.65 for 5-frame Brussels Carpet, and 36 cents for cheap Tapestry, we have sold our best Brussels for $1.15, and cheap Tapestry for 25 cents per yard—never asking more—which goes to show that our competitors have been making an enormous profit out of the people. Thia cannot be denied. We doa’t believe in moaopplies, aad have beea the means of breakiag the Carpet business in two, and tikiag the largest half ourselves.
