     To investigate and help settle corplaints. 
     
     To enforce the Human Rights Act of P.E.I. 
     
     which states that all persons are equal in 
     
     dignity and human rights without regard to 
     
     their race, religion, creed, colour, sex, age, 
     
     marital status, ethnic or national origin or 
     
     political beliefs. 
     
    

    
     To inform and educate all Island groups and 
     
     individuals concerning the development of
