Off the end of the pavement, on a small road leading to the North Shore, David and Eleanor Mary Mitchell of London, England and Eleanor Lowe of Charlottetown observed a Red-shouldered Hawk standing on the road, eating a small animal. They approached slowly to about 15 feet and watched from the car, getting a good view. When the hawk departed it was joined by another hawk which had been nearby, but out of sight. The two hawks flew away together.
