The 4th Regiment Rille Club fire
another of their very successful
spoon shoots this afternoon at the
usual ranges. Four classes of shots
will receive prizes of sterling silver
spoons. As all previous winners are
handicapped those who have not re-
ceived a prize have an excellent
chance to get one. Sergt. A. Mc-
Cabe is leading in the grand aggre-
gate with two hundred anil seventy-
seven points, with Br. J. linndrigan
and Gr. A. Seaman a tie for second
with 274 points.
The S. S. Bonavlsta arrived here
from Montreal Saturday evening at
five o'c1ock with a. number of passen-
gers aiid ii large general cargo. She
sailed Saturday at midnight for St.
John’s, Nfld., vin Sydney. Her out-
ward cargo from here consisted of
1,300 bags of oats, i30'bags of pota-
toes, 150 boxes of vegetables, 125
bales .oi hay, 50 head of cattle, i
horse, 100 sheep and sundry other
cargo. There were seven outward
passengers from Charlottetown 'to

The Morning Chronicle in referring
to the death of Mrs. Haggart, so
well known here,isays: The death oc-
curred Friday at her residence, No.
14 Pleasant Street, of Mrs. Annie
Haggurt, aged 90 years, a very high-
ly respected und well known South
End lady, Mrs. Haggart. was a na-
tive of Halifax, being Miss Darby,
and her lathei' wus active iii politics
in the days of 1-lowe. She wus twice
married, her first husband being Di'.
Humphrey, who was a member of
the firm which had the Octagon
building on Upper Water Street.
Some years after the doctor's death
she married Peter Haggart, a well-
knowii retired business man, and
they lived a. great portion of their
time in Ediiiblirgh. After Mr. Hag-
gart's deutli, his widow took up her
pei°niniient residence here, spending a
portion ol the summers iii Musquo-
bolt. Nutwitlistuiidiiig her nge, Mrs.
I-Iuggart wus quite active up to
about two weeks ago wlieii she nn-L

town and on her return home, drop-
ped a pencil near the doorway.
