High Mass was sum by Rev. Father Connolly, and an eloquent and inspiring sermon was preached by Rev. Doctor Callaghan. I feel that it would be of interest here to note that during the Con- ucntion Mass a solo was very clear- ly and sweetly rendered by Mrs. Lnrkln. one of the active members of St. Peter's sub-division, who is just eighty years young, and who was a daily attendant atflthe ses- slons. ‘ The regular Convention business opened at 10 a.m., the sessions’ be- ing held in the church vestry. The President. Mrs. W. J. McIntyre. op- ened the meeting with prayer. after which the roll was called, the re- presentative of each sub-division answering, and every sub-division with one exception being represent- ed.
