The Fruit Braiicli'ot the Department of Agriculture has today received the following information. by telegram. regarding the condition ` ot small iduits in various parts oi Canada,- NOVA SCOTlA_- Prospects are ex- ceptionally good for a large straw- berry crop. The i riiit will not be marketed in any large quantities be- iore July 5th. NEW BRUNSWICK- Strawberri- es will be at their best between July 12 and 18. The acreage is about the same at last year. Raspberries will he about one month later in maturing. All small fruits promise normal yields. QUEBEC,- Strawberry season will be at its height about June 24 and raspberries two weeks later. All plants have wintered well. 0NTARlO,- Strawberries maturing very rapidly. The fruit marie its first appearance on t lic Hamilton market on June 13. Heavy shipments will he made from the Niagara Peninsula next week. The quality promises to he very high. _ BRITISH COLUMBlA_- Strawber- ries maturing rapldly.
