There were (Wo moitoes, one over the chancel and extending across the church made of white leiters ona scarlet blackground, and containing the Angelic salutation “Glory to God inthe Highest and on earth peace good will to men;” the other of a similar character back of the font being: “The Lord is our defence.” The decorations were the work of Messrs John Pyke, Alexander Gillan and Good- wil) Williams. The choir was under the leadership of Prof, Marcou, who has been training it for the past four months. The Christmas hymna “Adeste Fidelis” was rendered in a creditable manner, Prof. Marcon an! Mise Morrow beivg the soloists. Tue choir has greatly improved during the last year. Last January neither the canticles nor the “Glory be to the Father’ were sung while now both are chanted. Mr. Simpson acknowledged with thanks the receipt of a new pulpit, the gift of Bon. Frederick Peters.
