Conference At Crapoucl The twelfth annual Labor Day conference of the Anglican Young People of Prince Edward Island uas held at Crapaud Youth Cen- trc Aug. Ill. Sept 1 . 2. There tins a record attendance with over 80 young people registered and guest speakers coming from Halifax and Charlottetown. Following registration which uas under the direction of Vir- ;:inia liiacltenna assisted by liarlene Birch games and sports ucre enjoyed by all until 5:30 pm. when the conference chair- man Clayton Mill and Dcanery President Allsion Gill spol' iiurds of welcome and outlined the weekend programme. At this time Deanery Chaplain Rev. G. RF. Ebsary introduced the theme "This is the A.Y.P.A.". and expressed the need for -eud- crs and greater witness in our. by motto "For Christ and tie t'hurch." After the introduction oi the theme an evening of recreation uas enioyed and the evening closed with family pray:-i"-i led: p by the Chaplain. This was 1 time when one forgot the excitement of the day and concentrated on meditation with fellow members. Sunday morning member: at- iendel Holy Communion at 8 o'clock with Rev. W.E. Ingroliam officiating followed by (lo:nmuIl- ion breakfast. Miss Catherine Greene Dioscesn Youth Worker was director of the four sessions and based her talks and discus- sions on A.Y.P.A. principles. The eleven o'clock service was conducted by the members. The third session was reading time in which each took a book from the Literature Table and concentrated on its contents. Each then returned to the hall and brief reports were given on the books read.
