Hundreds of tons of hay, _says the North Sydney Herald, have been imported by rail during the winter and bought up as soon as landed along the line of railway, and hundreds of t ns are yet required. As for seed grain, there appers to be none in the country, and as the price of oats andbarley is so high, poor people will End it difiicult to procure sufiicient feed f -r seed. Oats are selling in Prince Edward Island as high as 70 cents per bushel. They cannot be bought in Cape Breton under 80 cents, so that poor fann- ers will find it very difiicult to secure enough for seed purposes. not to speak of feeding.
