Several items were discussed and committees were formed to handle items. One committee was formed to decide on crests. The Atlantic Student Engineer- ing Congress (ASEC) wants to have a crest for their next annual meeting. It has also been suggested that the UPEI Engineering Society should have its own crest. Any member of d the Engineering Society who wishes to submit a Somew/Iere‘lnflo/Iywood 'Jhe UPEI Ivbvie Club this week continues its endeavour to bring to you, the students , top rate movies at reasonable prices with the movie The Last Picture Show. It is aptly named in that it is not caught up in the flood of today's trend in movie—making. ~ It is not action—packed; it does not use dazzling special effects; it does not boast a cast of million dollar action; it does not question our intelligence by taking a 'nostalgic' look at the past as others wish it had been. The issue of unpaid dues , was covered and it was agreed that any member of the society who has not paid his/her dues will not be allowed to vote on any iSSLE until the dues have been paid. Informal discussions provided the class with mum-appreciated councilling as they prepare for their studies at N..S.T.C. next year.
