A man of sterling qualities and a jovial disposition he endeared himself. not only to his family but to all who knew him. especially to his grand-children in whom he took a great interest. Mr, Jones was a prosperous far- mer. and farmed on the old home- stead at Lower Petitcndiac. until he retired ir 1929 and bought a home in the village of Petitcodiac. where he and his wife resided un- til 1946 where he moved to Hills- boro. to be near his son Thos.
