X-Rated Hypnotist Tony Lee: Chair Humping No Longer Restricted to Cadre office by Stephan MacLEOD Whatever happened to the good ol’ days when. hypnotists wore top hats and had monocles? You’d expect someone with superior mental powers to be able to dress himself, but Tony Lee looks more like a roadie for Econoline Crush, than a hypnotist. I guess dressing in a black t-shirt and jeans reinforces this guy’s “creepy” shtick. He curses lots, and giggles at his own ass and cock jokes. Most of the hypnotism is of the “Now you’re an’ Animal! Fuck your chair!” variety, and can be funny if you know the peo- ple getting hypnotized. That way when the show is done, you can point at your friend and say, “You did stupid stuff.” Tony Lee’s tricks are mostly shocking to homophobes, which make up the vocal majority of his audience. . I thought I was at a Southern Baptist rally when I heard members of the audience screaming “You’re a fag- got!” to their friends on stage. The biggest success he had at pushing but- tons was by making guys eat whip cream of each other’s crotches and perform half-naked lap dances for their friends. The rest of the show was a success in terms of messing with peo- Sweet Jesus, no!!! ple’s minds. However, one victim on stage was already under the influence long before he had the chance to get hypnotized. It was hard to tell if he was genuinely hypnotized, or just trip- ping out to Tony’s suggestions. But for me, this ambiguity proved to be the most entertaining thing about the show. _. There weren’t many people in attendance, but the people that did show up were treated to an enjoyably disturbing night of entertainment from a host with a horrible fashion sense. When it was all over, there was much to be said about people doing stupid things. : Just good clean fun with Tony Lee at the Barn.
