FIRE AT MONTECELLO-On Saturday between 5 and 6 p. m. a fire of unknown origin destroyed a large barn at Montecello, the property of Mr. Parmeneas Mac- Donald. Most of the equipment in the building was also lost. There was no insurance, The building was ‘about '15 feet in length, and was well constructed. FIRE AT ST. PETERS-The re- sidence of Mr. Leo Murphy, St. Peters, was burned to the ground Yf-‘Stifflfly morning about 8 o'clock. The fire, which is believed to have originated in a defective flue. was discovered by Mr. Murphy who was working in an adjacent field.
