Such conviction will not act as a bar to ally action by the 'owner or possessol' of any sheep for I the recovery, of datmages for injury done to the sheep. _ Tile owner of sheep killed or injur ed by dogs shall be elltitied to recov- cr damages not exceeding $50 fronl the owner of the dog by an action for damages .before a 'police magistrate. The procedure in cases ot' this kind will 'be as nearly as possible in the -manner provided by " The Small Debts Recovery Act."
