DOING THE ISLAND - A large number of visitors from Toronto, at present located at the Stanhope Beach Inn, have been systematically doing the Island by automobile. They select a diflerent district each day and do it picnic fashion. They breakv fast before starting, take their lunch- lng baskets with them, camp wher- ever convenient, returning to the ho- tel 1n time for supper. By this means they are able to get acquainted with the many beauty spots all over the province. One of the most favorite places visited is the old settle- ment of Belfast with its historic church yard. A SURE TEST-If you wish to find out whether your newspaper is read, make a mistake and everybody will tell you of it. Through the over- sight. of a "Printers Devil" the name o! the Hon. J. A. MacDonald was omitted from the Bennett Govern- ment list in yesterday's issue, and that of the Hon. E. B. Ryckman 1n- serted twice. From all over the Island enquiries were directed to the Guard- ian yesterday to find out whether the Province was to be represented in the Government. The Guardian was in the happy position to inform its enquirers that. the Hon. J. A. Mac- Donald was included, but his name was inadvertently omitted.
