Cold Weather -A fire yesterday afternoon. which originated xi the vicinity of the stove used to heat the garage of Ralph MacDonald on Noonan Street. was extinguished by Sum- rnerside firemen who battled the blaze in cold. windy weather. The building. formerly used for the sale of Massey-Harris machin- ery. is owned by Hubert Agnew. who still retains offices in one end of the building. The fire. however. was confined to the section which Mr. MacDonald is using as a gar. age. There were no vehicles in the garage at the time of the fire. and apart from fire damage to walls. ceiling and roof. the only other damage to the interior seemed to be from smoke and water. i -S.
